Denim sizing is, as noted insane. These Goldsign 31s were bought off ebay, they have a ton of cute details and contrast stitching. They are also a little tight. But I like them a ton. They're also a smidge on the short side, so I wore them with heeled boots so it wasn't obvious. Comfy, but tight.Next in pictures we have the vintage1 grey motos I bought on Beyond the Rack. I was super hesitant because the size ran only up to 31 and I could not understand why these were priced at $21. As you can see lower down, the price was explained by the marker stains on the upper thighs. But the 31? Is roomy. Room in the butt, thighs were not snug. I was tugging them up in the back at least twice during the day. So, yes, vintage1 doesn't go up to 32, but they are pretty far from true to size. I wonder if a 30 would have fit, for goodness sake. They are also AWESOME, by the way.
And finally! I purchased the DL1961 Julie "crop" jean at 32, it was a perfect fit. Totally true to size, gorgeous and not too tight, not loose. I really loved them.
And at 5'2", apparently the "crop" won't even need heels to look full length. Again: denim sizing is WACKY.
