First up, look at this awesome Wiki! A denim wiki! A fantastic project by Denim Debutante, so I'm sure y'all have already checked it out. But just to note. Awesome!
And here are my equally awesome Dylan George jeans. True to size, and true to AWESOME.

LOFT shorts & Talbot skirt
First up, LOFT boyfriend shorts. Sigh, should have sized down. Even right now when my waist has grown a little from the darned Farmville and 7-11 promotion, these are too big. I should have known. I am generally nearly always a 12 in Loft bottoms. And I got these after ordering a pair of their corduroy skinnys, loved them so much, ordered another pair in a different color. So I was very convinced of how awesome 12 fit, but my mind went on vacation about how different this cut is. Anyway, they're cute and sort of generic. Maybe it's the denim snob in me.
Forgive the boots, the rain here will NOT STOP.
Up next is this lovely Talbot denim skirt with a ribbon tie at the waist and awesome pockets. It was $5! No joke. I do understand why they had some left over, as this is also a size 14. And a size 16 would have been perfect, I think. These skirts (I have another one in a stripey fabric) are way way sized small. But for all that, they're a great length for me, a medium weight and have nice roomy pockets. Me likey!

diesel redux, yanuk 31 capris
First up, Yanuk capris from Ideeli. 31, close and snug fit which I like. They're low rise, as you can see in the profile which I like. But I like everything here except the length. Since I'm short, the capris end up being only a few inches above my ankles - neither crop nor capri, just, you know, short. I don't like the idea of rolling them up and it seems so ugh to tailor something for two inches. So that's my review: overall awesome, wish they were shorter or I was taller.
You might remember these Diesel jeans from a previous entry where I rolled them up because of the horrendous hemming someone did on these cuties from ebay. I had to take many many jeans to the tailor so I threw these in and now I have perfect length bermuda shorts with a clean looking hem. Because it is clean and nicely done! I love my tailor.

Yanuk 31 & Antik 32
Monday was Yanuk wideleg corduroy, black. I've mentioned my consistently awesome fit with Yanuk, right? Still holds. I bought these a month or so ago but just got them back from the tailor. When I said, "weren't there these corduroy ones" she was all, "no, wait, was there? I didn't think they were corduroy because ..." and then she used a term I forget to indicate that they were soft, she was thinking they were velvet. The front pockets are a soft soft silk thing on the inside so basically, I spent the day feeling like I was wearing pajamas except these are super nice jeans that are so much nicer than pajamas. I got these from Smartbargains - love! The 31 fit perfect which is par for the course for me and Yanuk.
Up next: ANTIK. I'm really pleased with how these pictures turned out - I think for once I showed that the jeans were flattering on my butt and managed to show you the fun details. Flower on my butt! Flowers on the hips in front. There was that same yellow and red wide visible stitching on the hem when I got these from the ebay seller. But I am 5'2" and I told the tailor I didn't need to keep the original hem. Really, it was kinda overkill. The 32 fit well, I am happy, I had a flower on my butt! Wooot!

Taverniti So 32, Antik 32
I don't think it's a surprise here that I adore embellished jeans - distressed, patches, tie dye washes, flowers, etc. And superfluous zippers! LOVE.
On top are the new Taverniti So jeans from the ideeli sale. (I'm vaguely irritated at ideeli though possibly I should be focusing my ire at Shop At Home since I did not get my cash back for my paper denim cloth purchase as Ideeli told SaH that I used a different site to enter, which no, I did not. And now I wonder if I will get any cash back from this ideeli purchase, sigh. It's just irritating.) Those zippers on the side are completely pointless! They do zip up and down, but it does nothing besides look COOL. And look cool it does. The 32 was the right size, thank goodness, but this is low rise all around. Moreso than I was comfortable with butt wise.
And now for some real ridiculous awesome. I got three pairs of Antik jeans off ebay, they are back from the tailor since they were all 35" inseam, and here's the first. Yes, that's a zipper on the front going diagonally, it's a flap over the other zipper! Also, chain! And double zippers on the back pockets! Just totally awesome. They also have a higher rise than I generally like and were a smidge tight on the tummy which was uncomfortable by the end of the night. I blame my recent trips to 7 11 for farmville codes and the things I ate that I purchased there, frankly.

Kasil Emma shorts 31 & Yanuk 32 & Taverniti So 31
(Let's pretend I didn't skip Sunday, okay? I had pictures and then I fell asleep. Yeah.)
I started the day in these Yanuk jeans, bought off ebay. They're a 32 and I definitely could size down (if a 31 showed up on ebay, I guess) but I think with the wash and the distressing, they work in a more roomy fit. Unlike the Paper Denim Cloth ones which aren't cut in that boyfriend kind of look, these Yanuks look pretty good as is. Also, Yanuk = awesome for me.
But the day was hotter than I thought it would be and I walked 10 or 12 blocks carrying a box of books and food from the grocery store, so receiving these Kasil chambray shorts was a godsend. As I noted when I ordered them, I got the 31. Perfect choice. Seriously, people, that Billion Dollar Babes sale was awesome - I paid $17 TOTAL for these shorts. Also, perfect length, etc etc. I hope other people got to take advantage of this sale!
Finally, today's ebay Taverniti So jeans. LOVE! 31 is a wee bit tight. Definitely wearing my Yummie Tummie there. But I LOVE LOVE the distressing and patches and the interesting stitching on the inside of the leg. I got another pair of Taverniti from the recent Ideeli sale which I will have up on Sunday.

level 99 wide leg 31
Oh, Level 99. These are great lightweight wideleg jeans, dark wash. The kind of jeans we are all advised to wear, etc etc. I actually really like these, bought off ebay. I have a pair of level 99 non-wideleg, they are super tight at 31. These jeans, which are a more casual trouser fit, work fine at 31. So size down ish if it's wideleg.
I feel bad my pictures aren't very good tonight, so I found I think the same cut in a much smaller size on auction on ebay: here. Better picture, at least. Cause the details and stitching are super cute. Okay, it's not quite the same cut - mine has different back pockets. But the front stitching is nearly the same. Oh, Level 99 and your wee differences.
The 31, to be clear, fit fine in the butt and thigh and are slightly tight at the waist. Only slightly, these jeans are uber comfy.

See Thru Soul Super Skinny 31
See Thru Soul! I got these at a thrift store. As noted in the title, they're a 31, and even in the 'super skinny' that's perfectly adequate and not too tight. I would not size down further, but definitely not a brand where I'd get the 32. They are still adorable and the black has stayed strong even though they are used. Also, no sagging after multiple wears. No stray threads!
I was getting some irritation from the inside label until I had the bright idea to tuck in my tanktop. Yeah, that took a few hours to work out in my brilliant brain.

Paper Denim and Cloth 32, True Religion 31
I've already done pictures of the Rock and Republic jeans I wore on Tuesday, but they were so wonderful. TRUE TO SIZE. So perfectly 32 and fit so well, the rise in front and back was exactly right, no overflow of my tummy (actually, the rise was so perfect, they basically worked like those jeans - not your daughter's jeans in terms of lovely look), no bagginess. Sigh. A particular heaven given Monday (pdc) and today.
So, I was stoked to buy these Paper Denim and Cloth's jeans as I've heard good things about the brand. Sadly, no one could give me an indication about sizing. And I should have got a 31. Everything about these jeans is awesome, except, you know, I needed to size down. Sigh. I know some people love a looser fit - but I don't. I think it gives awkward bagging on my butt and crotch. And then it makes me sad, sigh.
And then these adorable distressed True Religion jeans. I got them on redtagcrazy.com - the only pair left was $33 and a 31. True story: I need to size down. Sigh. There's a lot of stretch in these jeans. They're adorable and comfortable, but they bunch in odd ways around the thighs and crotch. I would try on different pairs of True Religion, but I never find them on sale and my motivation is low. So possibly other cuts are not so roomy! Anyway, both these brands, if I buy again: sizing down.

Kasil Kasil Kasil
Kasil Kasil Kasil, the last of the Kasils. To the left is the ones from ebay I've had on here before so I offer only one picture. I tried to spice it up with a jaunty pose! Hrm, apparently in the last month I've toned up or something because I note that in my first review I said these fit great and on Saturday I was thinking I could size down. Wacky.
BUT. You know what is true to size? The Kasil Benatar skinny. I bought a 32, I would not size down. Love!
The green ones are super fun, Kasil from ebay. They fit well and also, green! Fun and cheery.
Vaguely related rant, you might recall my previous pissiness about Fashionista - they 'reviewed' Taylor who used to work for Rachel Zoe's line for Kasil by noting it was dull and had no flare and UGH. It's Kasil. Were they expecting the line would look like Antik or something? Kasils aren't super embellished, they're well-made jeans with clean lines. Notably, the denim blogs seemed to have much more realistic expectations and reviews. Also, I liked the cargo pants she did. ANYWAY. Kasils! I like them. The skinnys are absolutely true to size. And adorable!

Kasil 32 x 2
a) I got my first ebates check! A rebate! Over $35, representing a percentage from 3-8% on a variety of purchases. Lots of ebay. Lots of ebay. If you use ebay, ebates is awesome. (I didn't buy jeans, I bought Penny Loves Kenny sandals I have lusted for on three sample sales - I had a 30% off any one item on Smart Bargains so it was a total of $27 for the pretty pretties. With $10 left over I blew on Farmville. DON'T JUDGE.)
a
b) KASIL week! On sale at Billion Dollar Babes starting today, and peeps, those are some nice prices. (Billion Dollar Babes has cash back on ebates and shopathome.com, same percentage back.) I bought a pair of bermuda shorts for $17 total, so. As always, the larger sizes are nearly all gone, but I still looked.
c) Here are the Kasils my mom hemmed. I love them but between these and the ones I wore today, I am weirdly thinking I should have sized down with the democracy trousers and could have with the others.
d) I say weirdly because I have gone for months thinking "I am firmly a 32 in Kasil" but I find myself with these sand jeans and the lovely trousers tugging them up and the like. I have not lost weight or anything here, guys.
e) So, maybe that would work for you, too? It's frustrating buying online when it's so hard to find people who are above a size 8 but I think I would say Kasil is true to size, but if you can sometimes fit into a smaller size, possibly you could size down.
f) I ordered my shorts in 31 after today and yesterday's experience. I had to have both hemmed, of course.
